Laura Smith MA, CCC-SLP is the Owner and Clinical Director of A Mile High Speech Therapy. She has advanced training and clinical expertise in motor speech disorders, following her daughter’s diagnosis in 2012. Laura is the author of Overcoming Apraxia and is an internationally recognized speaker on Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS). She also runs a website SLP Mommy of Apraxia and is active in social media handles under the same name. She enjoys being a mom to her two children and loves jet skiing, camping, hiking, and spending time outdoors.

Kelsey Cobb (Belk) MA, CCC-SLP is in her 5th year as a SLP. She works part time at A Mile High Speech Therapy and full time in Aurora Public Schools. In the schools, she works in an elementary and preschool within a D/deaf and hard-of-hearing program as well as a Significant Support Needs program. She personally has many diagnoses such as Childhood Apraxia of Speech (CAS), Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), ADHD, dyspraxia, and others. Kelsey has a service dog named Zion that is the best boy! She is proficient in American Sign Language and has experience in many areas such as CAS, ASD, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), hearing loss, and more! Socially, she enjoy skiing, hiking, music, and aerial dance.
